Don't Let Pornography Ruin Your Pool Cleaning Business
As you focus on building and maintaining your pool business, it is important to consider the various aspects of your life and how they may affect your business. Areas such as family relationships, finances, and mental, physical, and spiritual health all have a significant impact on how you do your job and the type of business you run. One often neglected area—and one with which many people struggle—involves the very serious issue of pornography.
While you may initially struggle to see the connection between pornography and your pool cleaning business, taking a closer look at the issue reveals how this secret problem can wreak havoc in every area of your life, thus, negatively impacting business matters.

These groups strive to help people who have allowed pornography to take hold of their lives. Pornography and sex have become addictions—addictions that must be battled just like drugs and alcohol. Addictions have been known not only to destroy relationships but also the careers of many people.
Ask yourself some of the following questions to determine if you have a problem with pornography:
- Have you physically “acted-out” while viewing pornography? If so, have the acting-out episodes become more frequent?
- Have you attempted to stop acting-out and have not been successful?
- Has porn affected your financial situation? Have you spent money on pornography or prostitutes?
- Has porn affected your family? Have you avoided family or gone off to be by yourself to view porn? Is your marriage relationship rocky?
- Has pornography caused risk to your career? Have you viewed porn on the job? Do you think of porn instead of focusing on your career or business?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, pornography is a problem in your life. However, there is no shame in realizing or admitting you have a problem. You can be sure you are not alone and that this is a struggle many, many people face. The only shame is in doing nothing to rid your life of pornography.
